At our family-run opticians in Llandudno, we have been caring for local eyes since 1990. What started with a grandfather, passed to father, and is now led by Geraint Allport and his wife Jo, remains rooted in the same values today: honest advice, advanced clinical care and a warm welcome for every patient.

What to Expect
Your eye exam will begin with a conversation about the history of your vision. This will include discussing any previous diagnosis and questions regarding any symptoms you’ve been experiencing recently.
We will then carry out a thorough examination of your eyes utilising the technology and services we have at our disposal. For example we use Optomaps and OCT to generate images of your eye so we can get a clearer picture of the health of your eyes.
Our eye exams also include detailed refraction which allows us to find the correct spectacle prescription for you.
After your eye examinations
After your eye exams, we will offer any advice regarding your eye health. This includes suggesting follow up appointments, doctor referrals, or helping you choose a pair of spectacles to help improve your vision.
If your results tell us that you need a new prescription, our team will be on hand to help. We are happy to assist you in choosing from a selection of spectacles.
